growing up in Parowan was such a unique experience. Oh how I love the small town life where having fun sometimes means getting into a little trouble. Trouble you say? That's where the "West End Gang" fit's in! I'm sure the words "Here Comes Trouble" were possibly spoken in the neighborhood many a time when a few of these boys showed up to play. Seems like wherever they were, there was some kind of mischief going on! Back in the day when smoking and rolling the perfect barkie was all the rage, putting hard beans in the lunch room chili, bees in the bathroom, streaking naked from the barn to the house, and smoking up the neighbor's fresh clean laundry all hung out on the close-line to dry... you just may have found a few of these Yayhoo's lurking nearby!
Last night we got a chance to live some of the glory days with the Parowan "West End Gang!" I love them! I love the stories, I love the laughs and I love their wives...what a great bunch of guys, and I must say that they married some amazing women.
I'm blessed to have them as dear friends, I love them all! We had such a fun time laughing and reminiscing about the good ol' day's . What a fun bunch! I truly feel blessed to have them in my still in my life. It was so great to see everyone again! Let's do it again real soon!
