LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

A Walk Down Memorial Day Lane!

This has been a week of remembering! Remembering those who have gone before us, and savoring the precious moments we have with those who are still among us. I took a hike to the top of the Yellow Hill and looked over this beautiful valley. I thought of those wonderful people who have lived here and made this such a great place. Their lives have so greatly blessed mine. I love these people...I love this place! I miss those who have been lifted up from the city of Enoch. Blessed Memories of them, and the great lessons they taught come rushing like a flood into the rivers of my mind. Tears well up... and I feel them close to me once again.
"Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred."

We remembered and celebrated this beautiful niece! She graduated from high School and will be moving forward into a wonderful future! Love you Andi
Some memories are realities, and are better than anything that can ever happen to one again.
We remembered and celebrated this cute little buddy! Happy Birthday little one! Oh the sweetness that sharing life with children brings!
Their smiles fill our days with joy and wonder! Oh the fun memories we create when they are near us. Their laughter is music to the ears!
"Life brings simple pleasures to us every day. It is up to us to make them wonderful memories."

"Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away, just for this time in my life."
Being with family is pure joy! There's nothing like making memories with the loves of your life!
"Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose."

We Paused on Memorial Day to remember, to pay tribute and to honor those who have sacrificed greatly that we might enjoy our freedoms. We take so much for granted...we have so much to be grateful for! We are all blessed with good family names to carry forward. Let us never forget those who's names we carry upon us... those who have marked the path and led the way so that we can enjoy the great blessings of our day. Remember these great ones! Never forget the sacrifices they've made for you! Your good name connects you with them. Your righteous living, your example, your teachings, and your worthwhile service will bless generations yet to be. Value your good name. Treat it well. It will affect generations.

“Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.”

I have wonderful memories of having all of my children here in the house! Those memories make me smile and bring joy to my now very empty nest. Today we made some new memories of our youngest sons new beginnings. He moved out of the house and into the world and for him life is good! I miss him... but I sure do love his new bachelor pad! It was even very clean! Life moves forward...and yes it is good!

“A place in thy memory, dearest, Is all that I claim; To pause and look back when I hearest The sound of thy name”
