Yes..it definitely was a pretty Fair Weekend! These fair little princess' enjoyed dressing up, and making flower fairies and making grandma beautiful! I love going to this beauty-shop! The service is always excellent!

We went hiking with these very fun people up to our favorite place called Hidden Haven! Me and the grands call it "Fairyland." It really is beautiful there...it's so like the Garden of Eden! We crossed the bridge of the angry troll, we caught Fairies and found the Fairy cave, and one brave soul climbed the waterfall. Yay...the handsome prince conquered! That's my boy!

Then there was an evening at the Fair! Fair indeed I must say! The older kids rode the Gravitron and made themselves sick while the little ones rode the carousel and floated in cute little boats having the time of their lives. Ya gotta love the Carnie folks! It's not the Iron County Fair without it. Then it was off to eat at our favorite place. The Parowan Dairy Freeze! I used to work here a long time ago for a buck an hour! Oh the memories!! the cheese taquito's and fry sauce are heavenly, not to mention the Chocolate Marshmallow Malts! Oh yeah, and these people I'm with...delightfully YUMMMMY! Love hangin' with my homies! We then took the drive down memory lane to Pioneer Avenue to show the kids our honeymoon cottage. (Lower right corner) We lived here as newlyweds. It hasn't changed a bit and the doorknob is still right in the middle of the door! I love it! Such a fun time! I'm feeling a little nostalgic!

We took a little "Down" time on Sunday. And feeling rested we then partied with the Rasmussen family!

What a crazy bunch! It's always a great time when everyone gets together. The humor in the air is so dry over there it always makes me a little thirsty for more!

Yay! It's the Labor Day parade at the Iron County fair! We love to go sit and visit with family and friends. It's the last hoorah of the summer season and it's great to spend it with family!

It's always fun to head up to the Entertainment tent and dance a jig or two to some great music! This band is the best band I know. "The Clique" is part of our family and we love them. Grimmy (Guitar player) is my uncle, the drummer was my kids orthodontist, guitar #2 is my cousin, and the keyboard player was my chorus teacher in High School! Dad and I got to dance to the tune "Mr. Bo Jangles" His favorite. The band dedicated the song to him that day! It was fun to be there to hear them play and to dance with my dancin' daddy!

Life doesn't get any better than this! I always look forward to spending time with my family and friends on Labor Day at Mom and Dads house. Mom makes up a batch of her fresh potato salad and sloppy joe's and we eat corn on the cob and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from dads garden. This is the best meal ever! Every now and then you get a wiff of the dill growing in the yard, ahhh the smell of dill is heavenly... and it's always fun to sit under the crab apple tree and visit with our loves! I'm so blessed to have such giving, loving parents, and such a great family to spend my time with. I LOVE THEM! Yep, It's been a pretty "FAIR" weekend I would say!
