LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

Enoch Potoato Harvest!

You haven't lived until you've experienced this! It was so fun to get together with neighborhood friends and gather in a huge harvest of yummy home grown potatoes! Some of them were huge...nearly the size of a football! Thanks to the Grimshaw families for their generosity in sharing the fruits of their labors and their yummy potato harvest with all of us! What a fun day!
This brought back so many fun memories of growing up and spending time in Enoch. We harvested potatoes often in the fall as an extended family and then gathered with aunts, uncles and cousins after a good potato picking for a huge bonfire and hot dog roast. I love those good ol' fashioned Grimshaw family traditions! My husband also remembers picking potatoes in the Parowan fields when he was a little boy and earning 4 cents per bag of potatoes! I sure do love a good potato harvest! Many hands and many smiles make light work, and it sure does make tater pickin' a whole lotta fun. How I love the small town life! "TATERS PRECIOUS?!"
