LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

A Halloween Tribute to my Best Ghouls!

The bewitching hour has finally arrived and I just can't let it pass by this year without saying that I LOVE THESE GHOULS! They are my SHE-roes! I fell in love with 2 of them before they were born, and then I fell in love with 2 more of them the day they fell in love with my sons! These women are my strength, and my dearest examples of true charity. They are mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, granddaughters, aunts cousins, and friends... these are the true heroes, the rescuers and shelterers from the everyday storms of life for many people in their circles! Today they need to know how much I love them and admire them for the great and many wonderful things they do every minute, every hour, of every single day 24-7 to bless and strengthen their families and those around them. In my eyes, they are the unsung heroes (she-roes) quietly going about their daily tasks, working their magic and making a huge difference in the world for good! I love you all for it!
I was reading some of the writings of my favorite author and in her book she says: "I believe Halloween is the perfect reminder that magic flows through us, mystery infuses every encounter of every day. We conjure up the shoe that cannot be found anywhere in the house. Transform leftovers into a feast, coax bounty from barren earth, banish fear, heal hurts, make money stretch til the end of the month. We carry, cradle, nurture and sustain life. We do all this and much, much more! To work magic is to weave the unseen forces into form." (Sarah BanBreathnach)
That's what these beauties do every single day...
Magic flows through them!
THESE ARE MY GOULS...
