LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

Diana Ross and The Visiting Teaching Supremes!

Can I just say that I LOVE Relief Society! I feel like I've been a part of this organization...the greatest organization for Women in the entire world, since the day I was born. My Mother and Grandmothers have been my greatest examples as I have had the opportunity to grow up and serve in Relief Society. One part of Relief Society is Visiting teaching. Visiting Teachers are the Lords hands here on earth in sharing his love in service and watch care to our dear sisters and friends. I am enjoying my work in the Relief Society. I serve with these wonderful women above on the Relief Society Committee in our ward and they are so much fun! We performed our rendition of Diana Ross and the "Visiting Teaching" Supremes at our last Relief Society Meeting. I love Diana Ross' hit "Ain't no Mountain High Enough" the words have such a good message for Visiting Teachers who reach out in love and service to their sisters each month:

If you need me...call me, no matter where you are no matter how far
Just call my name...I'll be there in a hurry, on that you can depend and never worry.
No wind...No rain..nor winters cold can stop me..if your my goal!
Ain't no maintain High enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
to keep me from you!

Here's a visiting teaching idea for the month of February. A fun Valentine to take to your sisters to show them you love them. Purchase a pair of inexpensive fuzzy socks for each of your sisters, and a Cadbury Fruit and Nut bar. Wrap the label below around the candy bar and add a fun photo of your choice inside the photo square... Then attach the above label to the socks and the candy bar. Enjoy your February visit...Happy Visiting teaching!

My mother went to school in Parowan and grew up in Paragonah. My grandmother was Iras Bell Smith Jones. My mother Javene Smith. My uncle Warren Smith stayed in that area to raise his kids. He lived in Cedar City and sold insurance. They had 2 other brothers Dale Smith and Tom Jones. all grew up there and retun quite often. However Uncle Dale and Warren have passed away. Tom lives in Las Vegas and mom in Lewiston Idaho. I know my cousin lives in my grandmas house in Paragonah. Do you know any of them?
