LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

The things I Love about Labor Day Weekend...

I Love cute little gardening angels...
And yummy snow cones at the Tiki Shack!
I Love hiking Hidden Haven and playing in the water...
enjoying whats left of the warm summer sun
and the precious moments spent
with some of the Loves of my life...
making memories that will stay
in my heart forever and ever!
I love The Iron County Fair,
rides at the carnival, and the cutest little happy faces!
I love dinner at the Parowan Dairy Freeze...
Backyard fun on a warm summer eve...
indoor camp-outs, Orange Julius' and big silver bowls of snowy white fluffiness!
I love Rasmussen Sunday afternoon picnics.
I love watching parades with really cool people..
and watching really cool people riding in parades,
like Mayor Bob and Uncle Ernie!
I love to see cute little sisters
hugging in the middle of the parade route,
and watching the joy on the faces
of the little ones as the parade passes by.
I just love being with these people...
and these people...
and these people! Even the ones that pull crazy faces:)
I love hanging out with the members of "The Clique,"
they are so good,  and their rendition of  the
song "Inna Godda Davida"was absolutely superb!
I am their biggest groupie, and I dearly love
one of the singers...he is my uncle...
they call him Grimmy!
I Love Labor Day picnics at my parents house!
Mom always cooks up some delicious grub...
And we sit around and chat it up enjoying
the moments that we get to spend together
with family and friends... while riding tractors,
eating ice cream, climbing trees...
painting pretty feet and faces...

and returning to our childhood to play
Cabbage Patch Kids in grandpa's garden!
The things I love about labor Day?
I love the smiles, I love the feelings of joy
I get encircled in the arms of  family.
I feel so blessed!
I love Labor Day Weekend
