LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

Oh What A Beautiful Morning...Oh What A Wonderful Day!

It all began here at the beautiful Las Vegas Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!
He arrived in style with his own personal chauffeur!  (The Whetten's) What a blessing to be able to go to the temple with my Uncle Alan...to be there as he received his endowment. What a blessed moment it was to stand with him and family members in that beautiful white Celestial Room..tears of joy streaming down many faces. While in the Celestial Room of the temple, surrounded by those I love the words to this song came to my mind:

In this very room there's quite enough love for one like me,
And in this very room there's quite enough joy for one like me,
And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,
For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room.

And in this very room there's quite enough love for all of us,
And in this very room there's quite enough joy for all of us,
And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,
For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room.

In this very room there's quite enough love for all the world,
And in this very room there's quite enough joy for all the world,
And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,
For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room.

Just a year ago Robi (Bottom) and Amber (Top) and their sweet little family were sealed together for time and all eternity here in this same temple. Today Robi's Father took that first step.  Such a sweet experience. The veil between Heaven and Earth becomes very thin during moments such as these.  There was a very special feeling there today. We love you Robi.
The family gathered together on the temple grounds. It was so good to be together.  I love these people so very much! I am so blessed to belong to such a wonderful family. Families are forever!
My Mom and my Uncle...Such great people!  We are also very blessed to know the Whetten family.  They are truly wonderful friends and are some of the greatest examples to me of Charity that Never Faileth.  They are truly amazing!
Me n' my Bob...My sis Carolyn and her Ernie!  We had such a wonderful trip down with them. Wherever they are there is a great time!  I love me a Pena Party and today was the perfect day. My sis and I are blessed to be married to these great men. Years ago Bob and I were married in the Provo Temple and Carolyn and Ernie were married in the St. George Temple.
After a beautiful morning at the temple, we had some family fun at the Grimshaw home. Here's dem guys n' der fancy cars!  You can always dream right?
Oh how yummy was the food, and Peg's cookies were out of this world! We also enjoyed a good Grimshaw sing along.  I love moments like this...These guys are awesome and harmonize so well. We were also serenaded with two of our most favorite family song traditions: The song "Rose" and my dad's all time favorite "Mr. Bo Jangles!
We had a great time with Carolyn and Ernie in this amazing store called Cardena's! 100% Latino deliciousness:) These amazing people really know their food! We bough us some home made tortillas and chips, delicious pico de gallo, and the yummiest Guacamole! And... will you just look at that deliciousness in the dessert counter?! Oh baby!
In the evening we attended the wedding of this darling couple.  Beautiful bride + Handsome groom + beautiful little baby girl =  one very sweet little family. The 2 beautiful ladies at the bottom are Robi's sisters, Tressa and Tami. All the beautiful children are Uncle Alan's grand and great grands.  We love this family! Congratulations Kayla and Zach!

The day ended in a "FLASH" and might I add very Happily Ever After... riding home in the back seat with this girl...I love her! Oh what a beautiful morning...and oh what a wonderful day it has been!
