LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

Fall, Family, Friends and Fun!

Look who drove into town and painted the town pink!!  And well, me too!
My vote sister and her beautiful daughter brought these cute kids on a drive down to Parowan for a Fall outing to see Grandma and Grandpa!  I had a fun tie playing with them.  We made a visit to the Judd Pumpkin Patch and scoured the patch for the best pumpkins.  It was a fun treasure hunt.
I don't think anyone went without.  We harvested some pretty nice pumpkins to decorate our porches with and to carve for Halloween!  It was so fun to watch the kids bound through the patch running from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to find the perfect pumpkin!
Climbing the walls with this cute bunch reminded me of she we used to climb that same wall and sit when we were there age!  SO many sweet memories of home.  Especially this time of year.  Fall and Halloween were such an exciting part of growing up here.  We had the most wonderful neighbors and loved going from house to house. Such wonderful people and beautiful examples we had in our neighborhood growing up!  Always loved getting homemade treats for trick or treat.  My favorite were rice balls!

The best place to go after a good pumpkin hunt is the Parowan Dairy freeze!  My favorite...Deluxe Cheeseburger, Chocolate Marshmallow Malt, and fries or English chips!  Oh the joy! The perfect way to begin the season of All Hallows Eve!  I love my family.  I love our family tradtions that always keep us coming home and close to each other.  This is my favorite time of year! I love Fall, Family, Friends and Fun!
