LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

Kicking Off the Holidays. Happy Thanksgiving!

Kicking off the holidays by lighting things up a little!  The Christmas lights are up and  so am I, the Fiddler On the Roof!  Yes I am afraid of heights, but It's always good to get the lights up before the huge winter storms start rolling in!
It was so nice to see that Ian and his kids arrived safely in Georgia all smiles. They drove all night to be with the Eves family for Thanksgiving through a terrible snowstorm that went all up the coast from Georgia to New York. With prayers for safety and heavens help, and Ian's good driving skills, they made it!
Cousins and best friends together again!
So glad my east coast families are blessed to be together for Thanksgiving...
And to share the love and joy of family on tis very special day of giving thanks.  Wishing we could all be together.
Bob and I had no where to go this year, so we invited ourselves to spend thanksgiving up in Northern Utah with these great people!  Bob's brother and his sweet wife are so good to us.  We are so thankful for them and for their hospitality.  We had a wonderful time!  Tony carved the roast beast! Well, the Thanksgiving turkey... and it was delicious!
A great time spent together! It's good to spend time with family on this special holiday.
Chillin' with the boys is always a blast...
And the Black Friday mad rush through target with these two after waiting in line for a very long time in the cold was fun, but very anti climatic this year.  My purchase? 2 bags of peppermint M&M's for Aunt Diane:)
One of the things Bob is very grateful for is a thorough and relaxing massage given by this amazing masseuse.  He gives the best massages ever!

And one of the things I'm very grateful for is a good women's craft night spent with these fun ladies!
And of course there's the turkey hangover you just gotta sleep off! Sweet dreams you two:)

Feeling thankful today for the blessing of Gods creations.  Feeding and petting this tiny pony was so fun for this little guy!

And of course we are thankful for cousins!  We love our cousins, and Noah is especially loved above and beyond by these two.  We had such fun playing hide and seek, and dog pile on Noah!

I'm pretty thankful for Noah too:)  He's a lot of fun!

We got in a good movie together with this great crew.  "The Hunger Games" Is all the rage this season. Fun family entertainment:)
I love checking my photos after this cute girl has had my camera!  The many faces of Raegan!  I'm Thankful for that cute face...
and these cute faces!  We had such fun putting together our Christmas Gingerbread Houses!
I'm Thankful for these cute faces too! What a fun day spent together licking frosting and indulging ourselves with the yummiest of Christmas candies:)  It was the land of gumdrops and lollypops and sugar plum fairies! Everyones on a sugar high, and everyones houses turned out so adorable again this year!
It's fun to watch both little and Big kids get into it:)
It's been a wonderful week of thanksgiving, and kicking off the Christmas holidays together.
Even Darth Maul is excited for Christmas to come this year!
And spending time with this crazy Mickey Mouse Outfit is always fun!
On my flight home I couldn't help but feel so blessed.  God is truly mindful of me!  I'm so thankful for the children and grandchildren that he has blessed me with.  For the love of a good man, the blessing of being surrounded with family and friends who love me, parents who raised me with the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and being blessed to live in such a beautiful area. (The Parowan Gap from the Air is amazing)  Truly I am so thankful for all I have.  God is so very Good to me:)
