LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

She Said YES!

I took a, fly but the seat of my pants, last minute trip to Sacramento for some family fun!  Thanks to my cute sister who rescued me and chauffeured me around Sacramento and San Francisco...I learned that "You are never lost, you are never alone, you are always on a new adventure!" I love my sis, she is my kindred spirit and I had so much fun with her and her cute family!
We laughed and talked and stayed up till 2 am playing iPhone games...didn't we Tayson?!  Such great fun reconnecting with these peeps!
I am here to assist my boy Chey in the perfect marriage proposal... or so I thought!  He brought his soon to be fiancé here to San Francisco to ask her to marry him, and me and my helpers... my sis and my adorable niece, are ready for some San Fran fun! We went shopping and picked up all kinds of yummy morsels to set up a picnic on the beach near the Golden Gate bridge!  It was the perfect setup. Darling quilt that belonged to grandma Smith, cute basket filled with such yummy goodness, and some delicious refreshing sparkling cider. The evening was perfect!  The sunset, amazing!  The set up right on the beach at sunset was soooo romantic!  It was to die for...it was every girls perfect dream come true:)  We waited, and waited and no Chey and Em.  We looked for them, they looked for us, but we could't find each other anywhere. We were both lost! The perfect Romantic proposal began to slowly unravel and our hearts were sinking with the setting sun.  Needless to say Chey proposed to Emily without us.  Much closer to the Golden Gate Bridge than we had planned...but that's ok!  They are ENGAGED!  She said yes!
Things may not have turned out exactly as planned...but they turned out exactly the way they were meant to be for this cute couple...
And we are so happy for them!
CONGRATULATIONS CHEY AND EMILY!
After we finally found them It was late, but still time for a fantastic celebration! And that we did down on Fisherman's Wharf at Scomas!  Oh my was it delicious and the company fine!
What a fast, furious and fun weekend of family celebration!  For Chey to ask me to be there to help out was so nice, and being with people I love was amazing!
Such a great time together in San Francisco down on the Wharf!

And flying back home and getting to have a sleep over with these little cuties was the perfect ending to a weekend of fun!
AND SHE SAID YES!  Congrats Chey and Emily!
