LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

These Cute Little Faces Make me Smile!

I smile when I think of Playing Hide and seek with Kira!
I smile when I get to ".com" Pokemon with Christian!
I smile when I watch Dylan play soccer!
I smile when I get hugs and kisses from Bella!
I smile when Raegan and I blow leaf tunes together!
I smile when Aidan and I ride the train together!
I smile when Miya and I have fun adventures on the phone riding in her pretend boat!
I smile when this smiley face yells for "Dylan?...Bellup?!
I smile when this smiley face smiles at me with those big blue eyes!

These little ones are the lights of my life, they are the joys of my days! Each one a precious child of God, unique in their own special way. I love each one with all my heart!

Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting:
The Soul that rises with us, our life’s Star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
And cometh from afar:
Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come
From God, who is our home:
Heaven lies about us in our infancy!

Henry Wordsworth Longfellow

I really enjoyed your blog about your family. We enjoy your son here in Donetsk Ukraine Mission. He is a great leader and has such a maturity about him especially concerning the gospel. We are sad to see him go but so happy for you to have him home. Sister Fry
