LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Happy Retirement/Anniversary/Christmas for the Two of us! I have been wanting to go to Disney World for ages, and my wish just finally came true!  I honestly had the time of my life and feel so blessed that I got to share it with my handsome Prince.  I truly feel like a princess! We flew out of Cedar City and then onto Salt Lake where my cute Daughter in law and 3 of our sweet little grand kids picked us up at the airport and took us up to meet our son at his work place. We had a great few moments with them!  They took us to a most wonderful place to eat.  I've never eaten Indian food before, and I now love it!  So very delicious:)  I Can't wait to go back!  We then went shopping at target before heading back to the airport to catch our flight to Orlando.  It was so fun to be able to spend some time with family during our layover.  Thank you Jamilla and Damon and Kids for treating us to a very fun afternoon!
Were here!!!  I can't believe it! The Disney Magical Express bus was waiting for us at the airport. We arrived after midnight and it was so nice to have them there to help us with our luggage.  They took really good care of the two of us.  We were the only two aboard this huge bus!  I really feel like a celebrity!
We stayed at the Disney property Port Orleans. It is absolutely beautiful! Oh my goodness!  I have always Love the Southern Plantations and that's what this looks like. Such a fun place...it's like a theme park in and of itself.
I feel like Princess Tiana! It's so pretty and green here with a beautiful river running through it that takes you on a boat ride over to Downtown Disney. Such a beautiful and fun place.
I love Disney!  Even the soap, shampoo and towels make me smile!
Our first day there we took in the Epcott Center.  I have always been intrigued with this place and have heard so much about it.  It was amazing!  I had the funnest time visiting all the different countries and enjoying the atmosphere in each place.
We raised a glass (Of Root Beer) with a table of Germans in Germany, fell in love with the caramel shoppe and enjoyed good food and performances.
We sure did enjoy the Moroccan Belly dancing , the Japanese drummers, and the Early American Heros.  I think Bobs favorite was England.  He lived in England for 2 years of his life and this place, I think, made him a little homesick. We loved the The fish n' chips covered with malt vinegar. Oh, and check out that awesome red phone booth!  My favorite:)
We walked down the streets of England, stopped by the Pub and even saw Marry Poppins before heading over to Paris!
This place was such fun!  You go in here and sample Coca Cola brand drinks from around the world and they're all free!  Huge watering trough, HA HA!

The cutest Little Mermaid ride and aquarium:)

We tasted some of the most delicious food at Epcot!  This is just one of the places we ate.  This waiter from Italy took really good care of us. I loved listening to him speak Italian.  Such a fun atmosphere and such Delicious food! Ohhhh the lasagna!!!! WOW:)
Absolutley loved the Animal Kingdom.  SO much to see!  We had a great time on the mini safari, and saw some of the most beautiful birds, and most amazing animals you can imagine.  Such fun shows so see and the Circle of Life Tree is amazing!
It was so fun walking around the streets here, we felt like we were in Africa one minute then dinosaur land the next.
Food and fun and the most incredible Bird show:)
On to the Magic Kingdom! I do love this place:) the princess castle is so majestic and lovely, the tiki room is marvelous as always...
The Dole Pineapple Whips are incredible, and Jack Sparrow is handsome...
and this place is not only fun, but so beautiful!
We stopped of for the yummiest dinner in this colonial restaurant and it was so magnificent! Oh my goodness was the food ever delicious!  And oh those desserts...YUM!
The Hall of the Presidents was so neat.  There is a great Spirit here:) I left here feeling proud to be an American.
We ate a yummy buffet with Winnie the Pooh, Eyore, Piglet and Tigger at the Crystal Palace.
Our next stop was Universals Studios Orlando!  We called for a Cab and drove to this fun place for a day. Dr. Suess land was very cute...
But this is really what we came for!  Harry Potter Land...And it was incredible! All aboard the Hogwarts Express!  Walking down the streets of Hogsmead felt like you were a part of the movie!
I found my new favorite drink of all time...BUTTER BEER!  It is soooooo good!  It tastes and feels like Autumn in your mouth:)  The cold frothiness of this drink with the creamy head is so yummy and addicting.  I couldn't quit drinking it!  The Pumpkin juice isn't too bad either.
We stopped off for lunch at the restaurant "The Three Broomsticks"  Loved it!  So authentic and the food yummy.  Bob had a beefsteak pie and I had fish n' chips....and of course more butter beer!
Hogwarts Castle is amazing!  It towers high in to the air and you can climb aboard the most amazing ride.  If you want to know what its like to ride a broom...you can't miss this!  It was awesome!  I did get queasy on the ride, but I think its because I drank way too much butter beer before climbing on my broom.  I Would sure love to go back and do it again:) It was so fun to visit places like Honey Dukes, and Olivanders Wand Shop.  It was fun to walk down the street and just gaze into the store windows.  Each window has a little piece of magic to see. And yes at Honey Dukes I did buy me a chocolate frog and some Bertie Bots Every Flavor Beans:)
If you love Roller Coasters...Universal Orlando is the place to be!
Jurassic Park and Sinbad attractions were so cool!  Such amazing scenery:)
And since I'm a cartoon girl and a Betty Boop Fan, I really enjoyed this part of the park!

And we even got our photo taken with this Villian!
We loved Downtown Disney in the evenings! We boarded our little water boat at the hotel and headed over for the Disney night life.  Such fun places to eat along the waters edge, and ooh la la...They have a Giardelli's chocolate store...Guess where I spent my time?  The street smelled like chocolate:)
We ate at Bobs favorite place, The House of Blues! Had we been here a couple of weeks later I would have gotten to see one of my favorite singing artist Gotye. Would love to see him perform sometime:)
Next it was onto Disney Hollywood Studios!  This place was soooo much fun! I always love a good game of Midway Mania...
And walking the streets of New York really felt like you were in New York!
The New Star Tours Ride is so awesome!!!
This was my absolute favorite place to eat! The All American Diner. It was like stepping right back into the 50's where the family was called to dinner and you all ate together as a family.  Our waiters and waitresses were like our parents and you were reminded often to use your table manners.  I was reminded a couple of times to "Watch those elbows"  and our parents called us "kids."  It was such a fun family atmosphere. The decor, the food...everything  took me back to the simple days of my youth. I loved it!  I didn't want to leave this place:) The food was a yummy  home cooked comfort meal...Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, meatloaf and veggies.  A few times I was reminded to remember to eat my veggies! Oh, and the huge brownie at the end...Heaven!
SO many fun things to see and do!
It's really hard to leave this place!  I miss it already and I haven't even left yet:( We have had such a wonderful week in the most Magical place on earth!  I have loved every single minute!  We have made some wonderful memories together here. Our Our Disney Magic bus awaits to take us to the Orlando airport. And from Orlando back out west we go.  We will surely be living these moments in our dreams for many years to come. One thing for certain, we will definitely be back! but for now...
 our humble home awaits!
