LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

In Everything Give Thanks!

 The Utah Bus' have arrived!
We've been waiting for them all day!
"Hoorah for the fun,  is the pudding done?
 Hoorah for the pumpkin pie!"
"All is safely gathered in" for a
wonderful weekend together!
Happy Thanksgiving to our Utahn's...
Our New Yorkers...

and our Georgians!
We wish all of you a very wonderful
and Happy Thanksgiving.  Even though we're far apart
we hold each dear one in our heart.
Happy Thanksgiving Day!
The kitchen was abuzz with homemade
Mickey Mouse rolls, crackers and squirt cheese,
and cute little smiles!  I even got my own live
performance of the new hit, "Call Me Maybe!"
Thanksgiving dinner was held this year with the
Rasmussen Family. We had a great time playing
together.  Boys playing with the new Wii U,
and girls playing in the paint making cute Christmas
Nativity Crafts that Aunt Tammy brought.
Thanksgiving dinner was so lovely,
and so were the pies, the Cummings Chocolates
and Trader Joe's Toffee that Uncle Tony Brought.
Then the adults planned out their
strategy for the Black Friday all nighter!
While the adults are away, Grandma and
the kids will play! I  Love these little munchkins.
They helped me decorate my Christmas Tree.
They did a great job! We then we had a sleepover while
the parents were out fighting the crowds.
I don't know about the parents...
but I had a delightful time
We did a little 4 wheelin'  and a lot of playin' and, well...
we kinda made it to the Candle Light Parade.
We had to run to catch up  and couldn't
see the nativity at all...We did enjoy the
tree lighting??!!! The shoulder rides were
definitely the best. Stopping off for hot chocolate
and doughnuts was excellent, and the walk
back down main street was nostalgic.
We've had such a wonderful Thanksgiving this year!
I am so thankful for the blessing of family and to be
able to spend time with them has been so wonderful.
I treasure each moment spent with
the loves of my life.  They are my joy!
