LIFE DOESN'T GET ANY SWEETER THAN THIS!

My name is Brenda Joy Rasmussen. I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in the small town of Parowan Utah. I have been born into a wonderful family of 3 sisters and one brother. We have been raised by good parents who have given us a life time of love. They have instilled in us a great love for the plain and simple, and most precious things in life, God and family. I now live in the small town of Enoch, Utah, not to far from where I grew up, with my husband Robert. Here in Enoch we have raised 5 beautiful children. We are the grandparents of 13 sweet grandchildren!

Tis the Season...For Gingerbread!

Tis the Season for Gingerbread with these great people!
One of our favorite Christmas Traditions is gathering
together with family to decorate gingerbread houses.
it all started years ago with the lovely
sweet lady in the middle!
That sweet lady is our mom, and this is a tradition
that we all love!
Gingerbread, gingerbread in all shapes and sizes!
 Many different creations,
for many different personalities.
They all turned out lovely!
It's always fun to sit and visit and lick
yourself into a frosting stupor with cousins,
aunts and uncles, and grandmas and grandpas.
So much fun!  It was so warm this year
we decorated our houses outside in the garage.
The little ones got into the act this year...

Even the teeny tiny ones got all sugared up!
We've had an absolutely  wonderful day with family...
this day could last forever and I would be
perfectly happy.  It's our gingerbread heaven!
Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch
me I'm the gingerbread man! This jolly happy soul
put in his order early for an army of gingerbread boys
to give out to all the good little boys and girls
in the Enoch 4th ward this year at our ward party.
And run away they did! It was a magical treat the
kids of all ages enjoyed. Tis the season
for gingerbread...The perfect beginning to a
very warm and wonderful holiday season!
P.S.  I will never be too old to sit on Santa's lap:)
