Ahhh Georgia in the Spring!
It's Springtime in Georgia and a wonderful time for a visit with these cute kids! First order of business is a first signs of Spring treasure hunt:) We found the first signs of Spring all over the place!
And of course a gathering on the bed to read some stories!
Getting ready and geared up for a week of fun!
We got to go to lunch to see Dylan and Bella and had a great time meeting their cool friends!
"Down by the banks of the Chattahoochee where the Bull frogs tickle you and say cootchie, cootchie"
Such a pretty pace to visit!
It's so good to see these cute little giggly girls! Ive really missed their faces!
Oh the joy of running through the house screaming and hiding from grandpa, and riding the tails of Santana! laughter echoing through the house:)
I Can't help but bubble over being able to spend time with these cute littles!
This is one happy family! These All American girls absolutely LOVE love their American Girl Dolls!
We had so much fun being artsy farsty and creative! These kids are artists and love to spend all day drawing. They are great at it!
We made Fairy Paper Dolls and houses for them to live in! I love living in fairyland...I could stay here forever!
Melissa made us a delicious pot of Goober Peas! So yummy... It's a georgia thing! Peas, peas, peas, peas eatin' goober peas. Goodness how delicious, eatin' goober peas! I actually learned that song in grade school:)
And she made us the most yummy homemade Humus! So delicous!
We went for a drive up into them thar Georgia hills and ran across this big rocking chair, so of course we had to stop and take a picture of grandma rocking her grands!
We stopped by for a visit to the Mayfield Dairy. It was such a fun place to show the kids how milk is bottled! Sittin' on the front porch getting ready for the tour:)
The kids loved it!
So did the adults!!!! I found the JOY in my journey today with this beautiful Lady!
There were Moo's coming from behind this door! What could it be?
Well I'll be...It was Bella the Milking cow! We just had to get this photo of Bella and Bella together:)
The girls got to milk her, It was great fun!
And oh the ice cream was out of this world!! It got a huge smile and a big thumbs up!
Our next stop was this most Darling place ever. Babyland General Hospital is where all the cute little Cabbage Patch Babies are born! I've never seen anything so darling in my life!
Cutest place ever located in such a beautiful area In Cleveland Georgia, If you've never been, you really must go!
It's where all the babes are born! And this is one cute babe:)
Everything about it is darling! The cutest little hospital ever!
With the cutest little Cabbage patch kids ever! This one...
and this one for sure!
You cannot be in this place and not smile! The smiles are contagious:)
Babyland Heaven!
It's the sweetest thing to watch a new Cabbage Patch Baby come into the world! The doctor comes in for the special delivery. Reaches down into the cabbage patch and lifts out a brand new baby! He holds it up for all the kids to see and then wraps it up in a cute little cozy blanket. He then lets the kids in attendance name the newborn baby, and then he wisks it off to the new baby nursery! The nursery is darling! The kids gather in front of the nursery window to watch the Dr. take the babies vitals and perform the first check up. Then he dresses the baby and comes out to let the kids hold it! Most darling thing to witness!
It's now Adoption time! The kids get to choose a little baby of their own to adopt, They can choose its clothes and its hair ribbon, and the color of its binky. They then take it over to a special desk to fill out it's adoption papers. They Name their baby, pick a Birthday for it and then a Social Worker invites you into her office where she goes over some very important instructions, then she has you raise your hand to the square and promise that you will take really good care of your baby:) Cutest thing Ive ever seen!
Such a sweet and special experience for old and young alike! Cutest place ever!
It turned out to be the sweetest day! Heres the new young grandma, Melissa Eves, with her cute little daughters and her newly adopted granddaughters! Congratulations grandma!
This is the proud great grandpa Bob and the doting uncles!
Look what she found at Target!!! Its the garbage pail kids:) theres a blast from the past! Yea baby!
Next fun place to visit was this quaint little German resort town called Hellen. I love it here, it's got some really fun shops to visit and its just so fun to walk down the streets and take in the atmosphere. We have been here before to go floating on inner tubes down the Chattahootchie River, but his time we tried some things we haven't tried before...
Alligator, Kangaroo and Buffalo Jerkey... and suckers with Scorpions in them! OH MY!!! He was such a brave soul.
Waiting in the car, trying on Grannies glasses just for gun! Love those smile:)
One of the many places we enjoyed eating this time was Lees Bakery! Yummy food, and the Taro Boba (bubble tea) Smoothie is heavenly! So hungry for one right now:)
We took a little drive back over to the old neighborhood to see if we could fine some ant lions for old tikes sake. Thats one of our favorite things to do! We weren't very successful though, so we decided to just have a photo shoot instead!
Love them!
Jumping for joy at the blessing of getting to spend time with them:)
Nope, no Ant Lions here...just the happiest little face ever!
Dylan planned the funnest Dance party! We was the best Master of Ceremonies! We had such fun dancing in the dark with glow sticks! I laughed so hard at Bob and Mike's antics I thought I'd die!

If you've never been to the Greenway you definitely have to go! Miles and miles of walking paths to keep you in good shape. Rollerbladers, scooters, big wheels and strollers all made their way through pathways lined the beautiful green trees! I got a great workout here!
After a trip on the Greenway, we got some lunch at Chick Fillet (Yum) and headed over to the park to play. The parks here are fabulous! We played in the sandbox and turned Audrey and Bella into Beautiful Mermaids! Eat your heart out Ariel!
The Sunday before returning home we got out the activity box and watched a little General Conference...
drew some sidewalk chalk designs together...
and did a little jumping with Santana! (I'm sure thats a treat) Love to play with these kids! One of our favorite games this trip was "Bears Chase the Children" we had agreat time running around the house and hiding! We've had such a wonderful time here in Atlanta and have made the best memories. Such a fun stay with such a fun family!
Leaving is always hard for me...I tried not to look back and I did! By heart always sinks when I have to leave behind loved ones no matter where they live. So long my Georgia Peaches til we meet again:) Thanks for the fun times and sweet memories)
Arriving home...We flew from the most beautiful warm weather into cold and snow. Can I just turn around now and go back now?!
